COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will be an introduction to effective descriptive set theory, which is a refinement of classical descriptive set theory based on the infusion of ideas and methods of computability theory. The only prerequisite is a basic knowledge of computability theory on the integers, at the level, for example, of Math/CS 117a.
